Society Management Executive

About the Role

As a Society Management Executive at Puranik & Associates, you will manage a portfolio of 3–5 cooperative housing societies across Thane and Mumbai. You will be the trusted point of contact for managing committees, handling everything from maintenance billing coordination to AGM preparation and statutory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned housing societies
• Coordinate monthly maintenance billing and follow up on defaulters
• Prepare and distribute AGM / SGM notices, agendas, and minutes
• Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely Registrar filings
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers on behalf of the society
• Handle day-to-day member queries, complaints, and escalations
• Prepare monthly progress reports for managing committees
• Support audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Graduate in any discipline (Commerce / Law preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in housing society management, property management, or a similar client-facing role
• Working knowledge of Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act and Model Bye-Laws
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); Tally knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in Marathi and Hindi; basic English communication
• Willingness to visit client societies in Thane and Mumbai (own two-wheeler preferred)

Good to Have

• Prior experience working with a housing society management firm
• Familiarity with society management software
• Knowledge of bye-law amendments and Registrar circulars
